Many more appeals are successful than you imagine. A properly constructed and presented appeal which draws the attention of the Inspector to detailed National Planning Policy Guidance issued by the Department of the Environment and extracts from the Local Plan can bring you the planning permission you are seeking in a short space of time.
An appeal must be lodged within 6 months from the date of the decision. On average, it takes between 3 to 4 months from submitting the appeal to the Inspectorate visiting the site. Once the visit has taken place, the decision notice is usually sent to us within 4 weeks.
When deciding whether you should appeal, you must take into consideration the upgraded value of your plot or property once the appeal has been won.
Our fee structure is geared so that we only make a profit if we win the appeal. Part one of the fee is payable when you instruct our Director to proceed.
